How to Create Taxes

1. Tax Guide

In this guide we will show you Taxes section in the Netron platform. You’ll learn how to create, configure, and manage Taxes effectively. From naming your Tax and selecting Tax rates to mapping Tax to specific sales channels, order methods and products. we’ll cover all essential steps. Let’s get started with Taxes and show you how to configure these settings.

2. Accessing Tax Page

There are two ways to access the Taxes page. One is by clicking Settings > Taxes. The other is by going to Get Started and clicking the Add Taxes button.

3. Taxes List

On the Taxes page, you can view your location’s Taxes tab and list view. You can create, edit, delete Taxes as needed.

5. Create Tax Page

After the Create Tax page opens, you will see two tabs. The Details tab is for naming the Tax. The Tax Mapping tab is where you assign which Sales Channels, Order Methods and Products can use the Tax. Let’s start by clicking on the Tax Name field and typing the desired name.

6. Tax Rates

There are two types of Tax rates: Fixed (Amount) Rate, such as a $10 Tax, and Percentage Rate, such as a 10% Tax. When you create a new Tax, you must select one of these types and enter the corresponding rate.

7. Tax Mappings

The Tax Mapping tab is where you assign which Sales Channels and Order Methods can use the Tax. You can add multiple rules (rows) with your desired configurations if needed.

8. Create Tax

After you configured the Tax Mapping, Click the [Create New] button if you would like to create another Tax and stay on the same page. If not, click the [Create] button to save and close the window, returning to the Tax list page.
